WARTIME CHRISTMAS:

Our 90th anniversary celebrations continued with a very special production in the community this Christmas season:

'WARTIME CHRISTMAS'
staged at
Derriford UR Church Hall
on 7th December 2019
2 performances 2.30 & 7pm
It was a very special production - thankyou to all that took part and came along to support us

90 years of Western College Players:

Western College Players are 90 this year - our first celebratory production  was a brilliant new version of 'THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME' in

 The Drum  Theatre Royal Plymouth

We  then presented our community production  'WARTIME                                     CHRISTMAS'.  Unfortunately Covid 19 has put an end to the celebrations- but WCP will return as soon as it is safe to do so.

Past WCP Community projects:

WCP Theatre company once again celebrated

Shakespeare's birthday and the 400th anniversary on his death- by performing and working with the pupils of Tor Bridge High.

WCP's committee performed an edited version of 'Much Ado about Nothing' to hundreds of pupils and Gareth led Much Ado workshops and for another reprised his role as Ebenezer Scrooge in 'A Christmas Carol'.

Thanks to Joanne and the staff and pupils of Tor Bridge High.

Roald Dahl Anniversary Performance: The Witches

Thankyou to those WCP members who took part in our short play of Roald Dahl's The Witches, which we presented to celebrate the great writer's 100th birthday, at Tor Bridge High School. Thanks to Joanne,  for the invitation to perform to the over 100 pupils who came to watch - scarily good fun!
